My path into website design didn't follow the typical journey one might take. Rather, it unfolded gradually as I navigated through various experiences. It wasn't a sudden realization, but a gradual understanding of my affinity towards this field. I've always found joy in exploring my creative side and solving problems, and it was these interests that naturally steered me towards web design. As I delved deeper into the world of designing websites, I found myself increasingly captivated by the endless possibilities it offered for both creativity and problem-solving. Each project has become an opportunity for me to blend my passion with practical solutions, further solidifying my commitment to this journey.

My story
I was born and raised in a small town called Palmyra, Maine. Growing up, I attended Hartland Christian School from kindergarten all the way to graduation. In my head, I thought it was normal to know everyone who lived within a 25 mile radius from my home, until I graduated. Upon graduation, I embarked on a new chapter in my life, pursuing higher education at Pensacola Christian College in Florida. There, I pursued a degree in Criminal Justice without fully understanding and comprehending the profession I longed for.. I spent the next 4 years of my college experience wondering if I was on the right career path. Though my academic path may not have initially led me towards Web Design, my foundational experiences, problem solving skills, and innate creativity has led me to my quick success within this field. My ability to adapt, learn quickly, and think outside the box has allowed me to seamlessly transition from my academic studies to a career where I continuously push the boundaries of innovation and user experience. I approach each project with a dedication to craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every website I design not only meets but exceeds expectations.

During my college years, I crossed paths with the love of my life, my now-wife. Our initial encounter turned into a deep connection, which is driven by shared values, mutual respect, and a profound understanding of each other. Through highs and lows of our academic pursuits and personal journeys, our friendship only grew stronger and our connection became deeper. Once we graduated from college, we both got married on July 28th, 2023. I left that small town in Maine and moved to Illinois to eagerly anticipate the adventures that await us in our journey ahead:)

The decision to infuse designs by Hunter Curtis with a minimalistic and woodsy theme is deeply rooted in my upbringing and cherished memories from my hometown, Palmyra, Maine. Growing up surrounded by the natural beauty of Maine's forests landscapes, I developed a profound appreciation for the serenity that nature offers. By incorporating elements of the woods and nature into my website, I aim to capture the essence of my home roots. Through this thematic choice, I hope to invite entrepreneurs, freelancers, and businesses alike into my world, where the beauty of Maine's wilderness serves as both an inspiration and a reminder of the importance of staying grounded amidst life's complexities.
